Google Marketing Live is coming back, with a little twist. On May 24th, attendees will be able to participate in Google Marketing Live in person or through a livestream. Google has yet to reveal what the ratio of the two will be, pending their COVID restrictions.
The Google Marketing conference is a key event for advertisers because it shows off new tools, formats, and more. Google’s annual conference will be lead by the company’s announcements of the upcoming ‘Privacy Sandbox’ for Android devices. It’s similar to Apple’s ATT update and will provide more data protection options for Android users.
Whether it relies on digital ad revenue or not, Google won’t be able to impact marketers much. It might be less disruptive for marketers who don’t rely on Google’s digital ad revenue, but even so, we expect it to be significant the restrictions are still new.
Marketing Live, an annual Google event, is coming up fast. Its agenda this year will undoubtedly include updates to the company’s suite of ad tools, and it’ll likely be worth tuning in. As well as updates to other Google tools, Marketing Live will have a keynote that is streamed in real-time for all to see. Google has said that its Marketing Live keynote will be live-streamed globally. For those who can’t watch in person, the keynote will also be available on YouTube later.
Google will be hosting a number of on-demand virtual breakout sessions on the day of the event. The sessions will help attendees achieve their business goals and more information will be shared closer to the date.
